In this session, early childhood music expert, Pam Gittleman will share examples that illustrate how both lyrics and melody impact social-emotional learning, literacy skills, and the role of songs in building those skills. You will learn how to use music and stories to support skills and engage students in early childhood settings throughout their daily routines and help families extend the experience at home.
Join us to see and hear how music/songs/stories can be used to support social-emotional learning and language skills, learn research-based ways to nurture and practice those skills. And how to integrate them into daily routines and practices. You will also become aware of how music/songs/stories can be shared with families to increase engagement and participation in each child’s growth and development.
