2026 TechKnowledgy Conference: AT in Action, November 16th-18th at James Madison University

Register for the 2026 TechKnowledgy Conference: AT in Action (**Deadline to Register is October 30th**) - TechKnowledgy is a three-day conference on assistive and inclusive technology for educators and families across Virginia. Sessions and hands-on workshops share evidence-based practices for learners of all ages and abilities. Exhibits and networking time run throughout the event, and you will leave with skills you can use in your work right away.

Conference at a Glance
• Monday, November 16: Preconference Day with Linda Burkhart on partner-assisted auditory scanning
and two-switch step scanning.
• Tuesday, November 17: Keynote by Mateo Moreno, followed by sessions led by school-based
practitioners from around Virginia. An all-day makers room is facilitated by Sally Norton-Darr and Judith
Schoonover.
• Wednesday, November 18: Keynote by Brandon Stees and the Mary Wiles Award, followed by
extended sessions with national presenters Christopher Bugaj, Kelly Fonner, Emily Rubin, and Kelli
Suding.

Registration Cost
• $50: All three days, including the Preconference Day (November 16-18).
• $35: The two main conference days only (November 17-18).

Intended Audience
Anyone who supports students with disabilities in PreK-12, from novice to expert. This includes teachers,
paraprofessionals, related services personnel, assistive technology team members, instructional technology
specialists, coaches, administrators, and family members.
