Inclusion Project: Mini-Grant (Applications are due by 5:00 pm EST on Thursday, October 31, 2019.)

The Virginia Department of Education in collaboration with the Partnership for People with Disabilities supports the Inclusion Project, a youth-led initiative to increase disability awareness in schools.

This year, the Inclusion Project is pleased to announce it is offering up to 10 mini-grants to support schools, Local Education Agency (LEA), or Parent Resource Center interested in planning an Inclusion Project event. This application has two sections: 1) is for contact and event information and 2) is for the budget proposal. All applications must have both sections completed in order to be considered for a mini-grant.

The application is due at 5:00 pm EST on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Applications submitted after the deadline will NOT be considered for a mini-grant.

NOTE: In preparation for your application, please note that you CANNOT utilize funds for food, beverages, any IT items (i.e. tablets, laptops, computer software, etc.) staff time and travel. You might partner with other schools in your district, businesses, or other community-based organizations in preparing this application.
